The construction of Glenmorris Street and Selkirk Street has not been completed as planned due to varies construction related issues. Below is the plan for the remaining works of this project for your information. (see link below for the map of construction areas)

Selkirk St and Glenmorris St and Dumfries St

·        Selkirk Street and Glenmorris St from Selkirk Street to Dumfries Street, as outlined ingreen on the attached map – Curb construction is scheduled for the week of August 31st and asphalt is tentatively scheduled for the week of September 8th. Sidewalk will be installed after the paving.

·       Glenmorris Street from Dumfries Street to Victoria Avenue, is tentatively scheduled for construction from the week of September 8th to the week of October 13th.

·        Dumfries Street from Glenmorris Street to St. Andrews Street, is tentatively scheduled for construction from the end of September to the end of November.
While Glenmorris Street and Dumfries Street are under construction, the road will be closed to through traffic (one lane will remain open after working-hours for access to local houses only). Therefore, school buses and parent drop-offs will not be able to use these streets while under construction.
 
Gravel paths will be provided within the construction limit where the sidewalk has not been installed after September 7th. Pedestrian will be able to pass the highlighted area but it is not recommended as it is the construction zone.

We hope the students can avoid the construction zone as much as possible during this time.
