Please accept this message as notification of newly reported COVID-19 cases at St. Andrew’s Public School. The number of newly reported COVID-19 cases, the classes which have been exposed, and the date on which each class was last exposed are indicated below.

Generally, contacts of a COVID-19 case in a school setting are not considered “close contacts” due to the layering of health and safety measures in place, including daily self-screening, hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette, and regular cleaning.

Your child does not need to self-isolate as a result of exposure to a COVID-19 case in their class(es). As long as your child completes and passes the Ontario School Screening Tool each day, they can continue to attend school.
